the jealous god / titan (s., p.: asura) domain
the human (s. manuṣya, p. manussa) domain
the animal (s. tiryagyoni, p. tiracchānayoni) domain
the hungry ghost (s. preta, p. petta) domain
the hell (s: naraka, p. niraya) domain

god realm (blissful state)

the deva realm realm of bliss. disadvantage of realm things comfortable there, these beings neglect work towards enlightenment. instead gradually use karma had accumulated, , subsequently fall lower rebirth.

asura realm

in lower realms, such animal realm, slow , difficult process accumulate enough merit achieve human birth once again, may countless lifetimes before 1 has chance.

animal realm

the animal realm (also known tiryag-yoni realm) based on strong mental states of stupidity , prejudice cultivated in previous life or lives.

buddhists believe realm realm of existence of nonhuman animals on earth. humans can seen animals, in same way asura can see devas.

preta realm

the hungry ghost realm (also known preta realm) rebirth based on strong possessiveness , desire cultivated in previous life or lives.

the sentient beings in realm known hungry ghosts . extremely hungry , thirsty, cannot satisfy these needs. in tibetan versions of bhavacakra these beings drawn narrow necks , large bellies. represents fact desires torment them, unable satisfy themselves.

hell realm

the naraka realm, or hell realm rebirth based on strong states of hatred cultivated in previous life or lives.
