altman drafted in second round (27th overall) of 2008 mls supplemental draft new england revolution, not offered contract team, , waived on february 3, 2008. altman instead signed minnesota thunder of usl first division on march 11, 2008, , played 15 games team before being released @ end of season.


after year out of professional soccer in 2009, altman signed nsc minnesota stars of ussf division 2 on march 4, 2010.


altman named captain of minnesota stars fc during 2011 season , captained team nasl soccer bowl championship.


minnesota announced in december 2011 altman return 2012 season, third club.


altman named 2012 nasl best xi all-star team after logging on 1700 minutes , captaining minnesota stars fc back-to-back soccer bowl appearances.
