camp raymond located 30 miles (48 km) outside of flagstaff, arizona, between kaibab national forest , coconino national forest, along rim of sycamore canyon. camp raymond has 18 campsites , offers variety of program areas, including boy scout resident camp during summer, 9 program areas , 31 merit badges. older boy scouts, camp raymond offers c.o.p.e, climbing, , mountain biking. camp named after dr. r.o. raymond, 1 of first doctors in flagstaff, arizona, , founder of raymond educational foundation. dr. raymond, along many other community leaders, had idea create permanent summer camp in northern arizona. 160-acre (0.65 km) site purchased in april 1964 $200 acre. camp development committee formed under leadership of william preston purchase finalized. worked resolve water , sanitation concerns , opened camp in summer of 1964. next big push development @ camp raymond in 1970s, when ranger house , quartermaster-trading post building constructed. handicraft shed , handicap shower facilities added in 1988,the pool in 1990 , lake in 2009. today, camp raymond has 18 campsites, each wash stand, latrine, cooking area, picnic tables, , running water. camp raymond available boy scout troops , cub scout packs troop camping, family camping , district camporees. camp raymond has archery range , national rifle association shooting range, including light rifle, , 2 shotgun skeet ranges.
camp geronimo - located between payson, arizona , pine, arizona, near mogollon rim. camp geronimo celebrated 50th year @ camp s current location @ confluence of east , west webber creeks. incorporates former spade ranch house along extensive camping , recreational facilities. camp geronimo owned , operated grand canyon council.


camp geronimo sits on 200 acres (0.81 km) of forest , meadows, , surrounded on 5,000 acres (20 km) of ponderosa pine forest @ edge of colorado plateau. serves one-week summer camp boy scouts, has limited accommodations families stay summer in cabins.


the camp has 29 campsites, 3 chapels, lake, craft lodge, obstacle course, swimming pool, climbing tower (temporary), nature lodge, dining hall, rifle range, low c.o.p.e. program, archery range, , muzzleloading range. every area has department teaches classes on summer. scouts enrolled in summer program able take 4 classes @ camp, , can earn merit badges achievements.


the spade ranch house, located in camp geronimo, has been around on 100 years. every year during boy scout summer camp, older scouts participate in high adventure activities. spade ranch house built spade family on basis of webber creek beneath mogollon rim. spade ranch house home mogollon monster story, classic traditionally told every group of campers come through each week during summer camp.


r-c scout ranch located half-hour east of payson. location of cub scout resident camp , many training programs. r-c scout ranch available boy scout troops , cub scout packs camping, , offers cabins winter camping.
