2002–2004

the original graphics package used network s game telecasts consisted of blue diamond, outlined in white in upper left-handed corner of screen. red arrows, outlined in white, placed around diamond indicate base-runners positioned @ respective bases. team s initials placed in box next number of runs scored in center of diamond. inning placed above score while number of outs , current pitch count placed below score. yes logo placed @ bottom of diamond, disappearing temporarily after incoming pitch speeds.


2005

for 2005 season, on-screen scoreboard modified remove white outline around blue diamond, given darker more royal-blue shading; arrows signifying baserunners rendered in bright yellow. team initials remained in middle of score bug, in silver boxes respective number of runs scored placed directly right in white-on-black backgrounds. pitch count , number of outs became rendered in white on black background. small red capsule incorporated well, appearing next team @ bat. in addition being removed when speed of pitch indicated, yes logo @ bottom of bug replaced yellow rectangle banner title home run in bold capital letters whenever home run scored.


2006–2009

the network s score bug received dramatic overhaul beginning 2006 spring training period. left-corner diamond design replaced thin horizontal white-on-chrome banner placed across top third of screen. @ far left, banner featured diamond indicating runners @ each base, outlined in blue , feature yellow glowing effect whenever runner positioned on specific base. game scores appeared right, team initials placed in black boxes encased in large rectangle featuring team s colors. while number of runs scored respective team displayed in black on white background. inning, number of outs , pitch count, in left right order, placed in small black rectangles. yes logo, @ far right, slide rightwards display recent pitch speed. after each pitch, or after out or run scored, appropriate box flash blue appropriate statistic. after home run hit, diamond turn blue , display abbreviation hr in center.


the subtle change score banner occurred in 2007 season, bases within diamond rendered in black; after home run scored, diamond turn black before displaying hr abbreviation.


2010–2015

the network adopted new graphics package in april 2010, on opening day of 2010 yankees season. scoreboard graphic reverted bug encompassing top left portion of screen. team names (in respective colors) , corresponding score overlaid on white-to-black shaded bar, base diamond placed @ far right. inning count, outs, , pitching count (balls , strikes) placed in black graphical bar under main banner; while current pitcher s pitch count (in black text on white background) placed separately right. latter area used show last pitch speed (displayed in black-over-yellow) few moments after each pitch. when home run hit, home run text message along player s name scrolls left on background corresponding respective team s colors, under player s home run count season (for example, 7th hr of season ) denoted.


brooklyn nets broadcasts use variation of package, yes logo rendered in black. prior nets relocation new jersey brooklyn in 2012, yes logo displayed in red.
