extinct towns
blyton
midway small settlement south of wiley church.
wiley town emsley wiley set side 1-acre (4,000 m) school & meeting house. platted city named wiley did not materialize. dream of school & meeting house did , in 1839 first rude log school built. in 1844 mr. & mrs. wiley sold land & moved farther west, in 1880 wiley lutheran church organized & still exists today along cemetery.
westminster paper town founded david everly after moved here coming east. 3 lots sold village never materialized , ceased exist.
