in 2005 italian team , fiat/lancia tuning specialist abarth offered drive naren. not raise required sponsorship @ time , opted aprc.

during end of 2007 aprc season team subaru impressed driving skills offered him test drive session. month of october 2007 saw naren in wales, england testing new subaru impreza group n world rally subaru world rally team.[1]

in february 2008, team sidvin launched technical , vehicle support four-time world rally champion tommi makinen s racity oy limited. naren kumar start in production car world rally championship (p-wrc) series run alongside regular wrc series. naren kumar driving subaru impreza. main sponsor bengaluru-based oil , gas company sidvin core-tech. during mid-season naren replaced gaurav gill india added more did-not-finish team.

after 2-year hiatus naren returned full season of inrc in newly formed team red rooster racing. tuned ace tuner , rallyist n. leela krishnan, naren joined second rally in season , winning 2010 title, making him successful 4 wheeler rally champion in india.


retirement

for 2011 season team red rooster racing withdrew motorsports, leaving team mrf , privateers in title bid. naren kumar on 22 july 2011, announced retirement rallying few days short of 37th birthday.
